Quick question re. Photobucket. If I move photo's from a folder to a newly created folder in Photobucket, will said photo still appear to forums I've posted it on? Or does the forum still look for its original location?Advice please, before I start organising stuff & then regretting it  Ta

I think the links all get broken which is a right pain. :(

+1Yes that happened when I tried it a while ago :(

Ah well, not to worry. Will leave everything where it is then.

Well the main purpose of my faffing around was to upload all my photo's to Photobucket, so I can delete 'em off my hard drive to free up some space. Not too fussed about a load of them not being in a folder.

I thought the links only got broken if you deleted pictures? If it does get broken you only have to re-host the pictures, so if you don't have moany posted up on th web it's not too bad.

To be honest I'm happy leaving my photo's as they are now. Even though I've not posted a shedload of photo's on here it would still be a bit of a ballache rehosting if the links do break......

If they are photos you would be upset to loose I'd do more than just put them on-line at the whim of a photo service provider. Who knows when they might disappear? Better to have your own back up of some sort.

Just buy a bigger hard drive! I've got over 200,000 pics on mine and still 56Gb to go

External HDD could be a big benefit for you Mr HMaplin do a cheap 1TB, which is more than enough for pictures, full lenght films and what ever else you can chuck in there

Yep, agreed. New external hard drive needed. I basically just need to free up a bit of space temporarily do download a load of music (I do a bit of DJing), but photo's will be backed up again soon.Talking of music, anyone aware of this site. Great piece of software - it converts any track on YouTube to an mp3 audio file:http://www.dirpy.com/You just copy the URL from YouTube & paste in into the box on the homepage & then hit the 'Dirpy' button. Then select 'Download' & 'Save' & select the destination folder. It takes a couple of minutes per track. So, basically ANY track on YouTube can be saved as an mp3 file!! Amazing!!
