Kempton steam museum visit 17th September

Local 2cv clubs are having a trip there on Sunday. All classic cars welcome, and it is outside ULEZ if you enter from the west.

Free bump. Kempton is excellent. The steam engine is HUGE and they start and run it all day. It’s very old-school and there’s little in the way of barriers or guards. That means you can get very close to some impressive machinery running. If you go outside, you might get lucky and they’ll open up the door of the boiler furnace when it’s at full chat. It takes the hairs off your arms!
