Dukestar25 Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 I'm considering the possibility of fitting one to my petrol engined Synergie for extra MPG as opposed to driving my insipid little Matiz (which will be up for sale soon - fingers crossed) when I move house later this month...Anybody on here got one fitted and is it any good? Thanks
FredTransit Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 What is it? Sounds right up there with those pellets you put in the tank to add lead, and the magnets on the fuel lines....
Mr Lobster Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Sounds like a fabulous way to waste some of your own money to me.
lovejoy Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Hang on a minute, guys ! A lot of the jet-ski 's here have them fitted, and they go like de clappers.......
Pillock Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 I went on the Waterboost website just for a laugh... firstly they seem to be trying to use "spare" electricity from your alternator to power a water seperation system (spare electricity? does it usually just drip onto the floor?), secondly as "proof" they have a video of a 90's Volkswagen dashboard with their oh-so-reliable MFA showing the MPG reading of 60ish.Hey guys! I can get a fuel computer to show 999mpg, want me to sell you a slight hill so you can save some money too?
Dukestar25 Posted April 4, 2010 Author Posted April 4, 2010 Ok, I take the hint. The Daewoo it is, thanks anyway...
