I expect sierra xr4x4's will go skyward in the next few years as the older stuff becomes more unobtainable. At the moment you can still pick a decent one up sub - grand,

It's getting that way already, Seen a few on the 'bay lately for £4495+.Any MG what be a good investment, Especally MGF's, the MG XPower SV and the MG ZT 260 V8.Also big Citroens like Wat said, The C6 will be come a cult like the CX.

From a futureshite standpoint? Anything big and Italian or big and French (so aforementioned C6 and the Renault Avantime, Fiat Multipla, even the shitbox Peugeot 607, Alfa 166).

I love my 607 to bits, but I'm not kidding myself. There's no way that it'll ever appreciate in value back past £5000. If you had a mint 604 it wouldn't be worth that, and it would be super rare and you wouldn't need a degree in electronics and computer science to keep it nice. What will happen to 607s is that they'll get minicabbed to death, and/or pass into the hands of people who don't have the resources to fix them. First all the toys will gradually pack up, and then when a big repair bill comes for something that's actually required to drive the car, it'll be scrapped. The 605 is interesting shite because they are already at rock bottom, and are far more simple machines to keep nice as they don't have ECUs all over the place. There's a metallic dark green one down the road from me and I think it looks great.
