Good thinking as always.

But finding one that will let you wander about, down here…… not sure.

Every time I use any of my cars, but especially the Astro van, it makes me smile.

They are all very different in function and form but the Astro continues to be my favourite to look back at as I walk away from it.

It also changes depending on where you look from.

Fetching some fuel for my mower and a jerry can for the Peugeot 206 CC which had a reserve light on the van once again showed a different angle.

Having a breakfast meeting booked with KBM this weekend, meant a quick vacuum cleaner run through and wash outside.

I also fitted some new rubber floor mats over the carpets.

The floor of the cab area is quite small and complex due to the engine being partially in the cab and under the floor.

So custom shape is needed.

I am really impressed with these.

Sunday morning the drive to breakfast was great, including two different beeps and thumbs ups from other road users.

Copperfield

Food was great.

Coffee absolutely sucked imho.

After breakfast which ended at 13.00 and a lot of chatting in the carpark I drove down to my local Morrisons to get some food for the house as I had suggested that I would cook for Sally and Aaron my one lodger.

Dinner was meatballs on spaghetti with a nice sauce and some cheese.

Very very good.

Two meals in one report……

Spoiling you guys.

Driving all three of my cars over the weekend was great.

The Rezin Rockit has just become due for a new MOT test.

Amazed that its 11 months since I completed this awesome build.

Mmmm, tasty Astro and tasty grub. Thanks for posting grizz am hungry now.

LOL.

i know what you mean.

Being unemployed means more YouTube videos.

One of the guys I started watching is Kurt Caz a young gung ho traveling vlogger.

Some of his comments are a bit dickish, but I find myself drooling at the weird food he eats.

The Astro is a very nice thing for 33 years old.

I really enjoy the Astro.

A typical Kurt Caz video.

I keep lodgers to help with the mortgage payments.
Simple solution to one problem.
Then they come in Vito, Renault vans, Ford Edge, or a fuckiff big Ford Ranger truck.
My rule is that I park up the alley to control access.
Still sounds good though.
Till you walk out and see this….
Guy is on nights so goes to bed at 04.00
Parks like a cnut.
Takes his car keys to bed so now I have to wake him.
Is it worth the hassle?
Found that my cutlery is in decline.
Found desert spoons in his cars footwell.
Just counted forks…… 7/12 left and three non matched items in there (part of a previous lodgers chaos)
FCUK !!

Problem with today problem child is he is super nice, kind, generous BUT a total animal and scatterbrain.

Did I mention FCUK ??

Could be better induced to abandon it across the road?

Perhaps by you thoughtlessly* parking in the middle of your "apron"?

The thing about Lewis id he is pig headed.

But I originally told him parking is over the street. Of course he insists on parking behind me when the other guy has parked where his truck is today (other guy went home for weekend)

Over the street is 100% safe.

Did I mention thats just cuntish of him.

Still got all of Sunday left to play with my toys.

Yesterday was the turn of the Astro to get out again.

Always a pleasure.

Farmers are out doing farmer stuff.

And took a pic for those who commented about the steering wheel being upside down.

In face, if you park with the wheels turned, you may find that illusion happening.

Today the Peugeot 206 CC is going on the sidewalk with some FOR SALE signs in the windows.

You never know when someone might have to have it.

Headed out in the van after breakfast.

Nice weekend.

Driving the Astro and of course dayling the Caddy.

Put the Peugeot 206 CC on the sidewalk with some For Sale signs in case anyone wants or needs it in their lives.

All three being AS sourced cars, patterns forming here

Later I took the Astro and went for a random drive.

I continue to love driving it. Of course the fact that others like it is cool too. Like having a kid win an award or race.

Windy as heck out there but warm.

Maybe as much as 13’C which is hot for January.

I also drove over to the Isle of Grain and parked up in one of my favourite spots for taking pics of cars.

Hard to choose just one pic.

Three with no filters

IMG_1227.jpeg?width=1920&height=1080&fit

IMG_1239.jpeg?width=1920&height=1080&fit

And one with a simple iPhone filter.

I really enjoyed the clouds and sun playing.

IMG_1226.jpeg?width=1920&height=1080&fit

Weekend over, I still need to hand polish up the Astro.

It photographs well but polished will make it pop even more.

I actually forgot to put this short random video in as well.

i like the stripes on the astro, when did you add them?  i dont remember seeing them before!

also hide all your forks and spoons. may even be worth getting some wooden camping ones or even raiding the charity shops for proper ones that the lodgers can take to work? i know you should'nt have to but it may be worth putting the good cutlery in a drawer elsewhere!

Stripes absolutely divide.

Marmite.

I actually like them.

Yhat and the fact they are not just boring with a graduated tone.

Cutlery is a pain

How do you tell them you are pissed off without having them pack up and go

Peugeot price dropped to £1200.00

just mention that you have noticed that some of the cutlery that a now departed friend won in a competition and gifted you as a house warming gift is no longer there, and whilst you dont mind it being used you would prefer it if only cutlery from set b was taken to work? other than that you can add charges for replacing said sets of cutlery. you could also use the cheap ones as wheel chocks when they dont use the pre agreed parking..... im not(that much) a twat i promise!

otherwise remove all but 2 pieces of cutlery from the drawer and wait for the inevitable 'grizz, where's all the forks?' or even replace them with pictures of forks in footwells.... why do i sound so evil? im really not!

i do understand though, owning 453 spoons 653 knives and 5 forks....

Chain the two provided forks to the dining table one night ... six foot should be sufficient? 🤔👍🏼

I think cutlery problems not going to be an easy resolution.

So maybe try ignoring it till we have only three teaspoons and a soup ladle left.

Been a bit unwell over the weekend.

D&V with 7 motions (thats not political but about the same as political promises)

Nausea continued and yesterday I went to the village pharmacy for some anti emetics only to be told they can’t sell to me. I need a prescription.

SERIOUSLY?

So I go to the GP surgery.

Dimwit desk driver, programmed to defeat says no doctors, no appointments, no prescription, no way to get help.

Now, the NHS that MY TAXES PAYS FOR keeps telling us they are improving the services.

How the hell can I not even self medicate or self treat, in order to reduce pressure on their system.

So the AI ( A is for Absolute and I for Imbecile not Intelligence) behind the desk tells me that I can do an E-Consult request.

So I go sit in my car outside and go online to try booking an online consultation to get some vomit pills before I get to taste my own butthole only to receive this message below.

So I walk back indoors (even more pissed off) to see said AI operator boot out an elderly lady who placed a request two weeks ago (I spoke to her in front of AI ass) When AI was telling said older lady to go make an E-Consult appointment I cut in and showed her my “error message” to which her response was “Oh yes, we only allow bookings between 08.00 and 10.00 because we are busy”

FFS.

So the other 22 hours you can die or vomit your lungs out or have a cardiac arrest and they will tell you there are no appointments.

I am so pissed and disappointed in the NHS and the lack of service I have experienced on a basic level.

Maybe I am the one overreacting.

Maybe.

As a former, qualified General Nurse, Midwife (male version) Psychiatric nurse and Occupational Health Nurse and Audiometer, I am absolutely disgusted and disappointed in what many people have to put up with.

I have also been on the receiving end of absolutely incredible levels of treatment and care in the system (2019)

My head hurts.

Can't you buy 'Stop the Shitz' at the supermarket? It seems very odd that pharmacies now need a prescription for them - again, I thought they were a non-prescription item.

You can get stop the shits and I have and took it.
