Austin/BL centre console speaker

Hi All,Im looking for a speaker to fit in the centre of the dash of my new maxi?im pretty sure its the same size as the ones in the ital etc.. what size are they?tried google, but im fed up of it saying "do you mean mini"

also....I cannot find any sign of an aerial or an aerial mounting spot where one might have been. obviously i dont mind fitting one, but i would have thought they were all fitted with aerials or am i waaay off?if there was no radio fitted from factory, surely there would be a blanking plate and not a big gap as there is now?! would all they be produced with the wiring loom intact, and just a blanking plate?

They'll be the same as the Porsche 924 door speakers (which you can't get anymore either). Think they're 6x3. I found on in the my whizzkid dashboard unconnected up.

Will also work if you stick it up inside the dash. Requires +12v feed.

i found the radio blanking plate in one of the footwells, so i think that clears up that mysterygoing to go for the modern stereo in glovebox arrangement
