warren t claim Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 According to those nice meercats FAB1 is a....2004 Rolls-Royce Phantom, 6749CC Petrol, 4DR, AutoI'm sure you would of remembered if that was what it was attatched to!
mouseflakes Posted March 12, 2010 Posted March 12, 2010 Lady P's car was in Cars of the Stars in Keswick a few years back - dunno if it still is.When I was there I tried to read a bit about its history (though my son was trying to drag me off to look at something else).Weird thing was - I'd always had this vague memory of seeing FAB1 close up, in the metal (fibreglass) from way back when as a kid. I've always had this vague memory of it being in some dusty old conservatory or orangery or something like that - I was there, amazed to find it. I've never been sure if that was some kind of odd childhood dream or a genuine memory - it just seems too strange.Well - according to the history I read at CoTS - FAB1 did languish for years in some old summerhouse / greenhouse / conservatory thing - possibly in a safari park type place - Woburn maybe?. I can't recall exact details from the history. I think the guy that runs CoTS rescued it from there even. So it turns out I really did see it all covered in dust and dried leaves when I was a kid. It couldn't have been that old then.
25v6turbo Posted March 12, 2010 Author Posted March 12, 2010 FAB 1 is on a RR that i see often in the Cranleigh area,it has one of those alloy bonnets, very smart, you CAN,T miss it!
