Went to the National Champs stock car meet last night...apologies for shite images but stock cars are not designed to be photographed by slow point n shoot cameras..the action was great..they ride over the top of each other..and when they hit the wall constantly..the ground vibrates beneath u..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The stock saloons are a laugh..the Triumph 2500 was cool..and kept up with the leaders of the pack..the Nissan had a major battle with the Honda Prelude and eventually the former won..and the Escort was always last..

Great pics! took me back 20 years when I used to watch such things at the long gone Newton Abbot track in South Devon, right down to the MK2 Escort and big Triumph..Nice to hear that the big Triumph did well and kept up with more modern stuff....
