Not knowing the front suspension set up I'd hazzard a guess that its got a steering box? if so it will try to fight you going around tight corners, straight line and normal corners it'll be ok, it might also wander slightly more than your used to because of the steering box, I have had this with the Mk1 and Mk2 Cortinas that I've A -framed

Let us know how it goes. I fancy 'framing some old citshit over, I'm quite partial to an Ami at the mo, and they are subject to 2cv-tax here.

Our survey says EEARGH EEARGH! Rack and pinion - the Moggy wasn't the only car launched in 1948 to feature it.Chains around the front axle arms should do the trick. I've a-framed my 2CV with no issues. Just don't do what a pal did once - he left it in gear... (and then wondered why it sounded like the engine was running!)They CAN get a wiggle on sometimes but I've not had that problem.Amis rot in horrible ways. Check the floors, sills, inner rear wings, bulkhead and especially the roof around the guttering, especially above the front doors. They are super-cool though.

Mr Bollox if you wanna borrow my "A" frame then pm me. Alternatively I'm happy to assist with towing it using my trusty Fun if we can come to a mutually beneficial arrangement (perhaps involving a small amount of money... and a large amount of beer!) I recently recovered a Lancia Beta from Dunstable to Camberwell.... That was an experience! I can't see moving a Citroen Dyane would prove too difficult!

Cheers A353! But I have got an A-frame already and an old truck to pull it with. I just lack the money to buy a car to tow home!
