I cried through that, serious waste of a Plymouth Belvedere! Having said that it really did look dated in '70's Hamburg!

Or is it? the car at the beginning of the chase is a Plymouth Fury, but about a quarter of the way through it morphs into something else which might not be a Plymouth, looks more Oldsmobile or Desoto maybe (Different grille, fins, rear lamps...)
