More yellow bulbs...

[25v6turbo]

I,ve decided to change all my bulbs on the 25 Turbos headlamps to yellow,it will suit it(it has yellow fogs already)and on the french brochures i have looks great,you see this yellow tint inside the glass lense which looks great,with my car i have 3 yellow bulbs in each lampfirstly a 5W capless sidelight bulb,which i fitted a pair today,easy to get as they are Renault clio side repeater bulbs..Second one is the H4 dip beam,this has been kindly sorted out by Andrew and should look great when fittedLastly is the main beam H1 this is proving a problem,who or where do i buy yellow H1 bulbs??,NOT yes the yellow filiment type,it must be the yellow glass ones..Any clues i might got E-bay France??But surely i can get them in the U.K?

Are they legal (pretty sure yellow headlamp bulbs aren't)?

Yellow headlamps are legal so long as they form a matched pair.Front sidelights must be white unless contained in a yellow headlamp when they can also be yellow, so long as again they form a matched pair.

I run yellow bulbs in my R16. It just looks so right on old French motors I think...

 

 

I got mine off of ebay uk but I'd think that ebay.fr would throw some up. When I was at Reims last year, their were thousands available at the autojumble so I'd guess they must still be readily available on the bay.
