around the corner in the hamlet of Lastours features a couple of abandoned buildings..

firstly this smallish house

http://www.franco-oldtimers.com/zenphoto/cache/Places/Lastours_1/DSC05208.JPG_595.jpg

lovely oak floors but the place had been raped of all its fireplaces, electric and anything else..

http://www.franco-oldtimers.com/zenphoto/Places/Lastours_1/image/595/DSC05209.JPG

complete with mini tower :D

http://www.franco-oldtimers.com/zenphoto/Places/Lastours_1/image/595/DSC05211.JPG

the next was a business, not sure what maybe someone with intellect in this department could help..

place was massive..

next up was the ruined Chateau de Belcastel, but we couldnt get near it (no roads) next time we'll get there..

http://www.franco-oldtimers.com/zenphoto/Places/Chateau%20de%20Belcastel/image/595/DSC05239.JPG

and finally the Domaine-de-Lys unknown history appeared to be a working farm of sorts but was abit freaky too, seems to feature 2 corner towers but are set inside the building...

http://www.franco-oldtimers.com/zenphoto/cache/Places/domaine-de-lys/DSC05245.JPG_595.jpg

http://www.franco-oldtimers.com/zenphoto/Places/domaine-de-lys/image/595/DSC05248.JPG

so many outbuildings, mostly made of concrete which was cracked all over..

http://www.franco-oldtimers.com/zenphoto/Places/domaine-de-lys/image/595/DSC05285.JPG

weird building these housed machinery downstairs and what looks like workers houses above, at least 4, with 2 rooms in each, in the first a fireplace/sink (in concrete and cracked badly..) the second a bedroom, but not one had a toilet nice..

http://www.franco-oldtimers.com/zenphoto/Places/domaine-de-lys/image/595/DSC05290.JPG

curved metre thick walls of the tower

http://www.franco-oldtimers.com/zenphoto/Places/domaine-de-lys/image/595/DSC05291.JPG

another cage inside too (note this was on the first floor and couldnt be acessed easy from the outside) but up the stairs was bang in front of you..

Cracking pictures Vw, Tayne..... I would say the old Caterpillar crawler tractor would be worth a fair bit, as would the John Deere....looks like they used it to run the thresher looking at the home made guards. The old truck looks pretty solid too 8)
