I don't usually frequent halfords as the local motor factors usually carries anything I need. But they didn't have the instrument bulbs I needed for me Kawasaki 400.So I found the bulbs eventually, after enduring endless aisles of air fresheners and chrome exhaust trims. Then I had to decide whether I wanted standard or "blue light". Hmmmm. So I went to pay the rather attractive young lady at the counter. "Would you like it fitted for "£2.99?" she asked.As the bike was 4 miles away in my garage, this seemed like a very reasonable offer, which I accepted at once.Imagine my disappointment when she explained it was only for cars, and you had to have arrived in it. Damn small print

They do scratch repairs at Halfords as well. Seeing as they only have two colours spray paint for the entire Suzuki range, I'll be giving that a miss.
