Shite campervan trip

Does anyone fancy a roadtrip to Scotland in an old VW Autosleeper campervan? 

I have agreed to buy one and the seller was going to meet at Heathrow airport for me to drive back to Scotland but it’ll be an awful rushed trip as I’ve to get back to for work etc. I was going to fly to Heathrow, sleep the night in the van and drive north in one go, but thought there might be someone else able to take advantage and get a bit of enjoyment from the trip. 
I’d be happy to pay travel expenses plus some more and it doesn’t have to get to me near Inverness til the 23rd/24th?
I’d intend to pay for the van my end and sort aspects like that out with the seller, it’ll be taxed, has recently passed an MOT and can try sort something out with insurance if needbe.
