Bathurst is a great track - and way more frightening even than it looks in photos or TV. I'm sure meowdchina will concur, the initial blind plunge over Skyline is heart-stopping stuff, and the descent down the mountain is way steeper than you'd think - plus, the walls are a LOT closer than they look. I had a lot more time for our tourer guys after I went there the first time...

 

Some good stuff in the museum, something of an eclectic collection but it makes plain the guys who took 7-litre Camaros and full-bore Falcon GTHOs up there were just nucking futz...
