Excuse shite photo but saw this in Chester the other day and was srsly impressed...

 

 

Had some sort of mad globe thing on the roof, writing on the door and was absolutely ace and looked in very nice order.

 

Anyone know whose it is?

That was on ebay for some time, ex-Japanese taxi on lpg from 1987 I think, really cheap (imho).

Yeah it was mega cheap really. I think it was 8 or 9 hundred quid or so. Surprised nobody snapped it up.

I seem to remember it was from 1987 - 1986 would have made it tax exempt in Holland from 2011 (used to be a rolling arrangement but now it stops after 1986) which would have made it very interesting, especially on LPG... 1987 and LPG means higher road tax than petrol, so something like 1200 euro a year.

You know what? I saw that a few weeks ago local to me and wondered whether its was a taxi. It currently resides about a half a mile from me, I'll have to try and have a word with him.
