Hmmmm yes please! Where was that? I am particularly loving the wobbly letters on the number plate! Given it's wearing beam benders, was it abroad?

Belonged to me (well my scout group) and the photo was taken in 2000 on a trip to Carnac in France. I have a feeling the photo was taken waiting to board the ferry in this country. Note the use of black insulation tape in repairing the shonky reg plate and making beam benders. We also had a Mk 1 but I havent got a good picture of it.I dont understand why the Doovlay say its white though as every bit of metal was orange.

Was it a ringer ?? We have a luton that was bought white with a blue body, V5 said white (though the chassis had left the production line in white). We had all of it resprayed blue, the MOT said blue, yet twice in two week we were stopped by different coppers and told it was down as white. Another one we bought white (but had left Ford in yellow), straight away resprayed it blue, changed the V5 and yet the coppers insisted it was down as white! Where were they getting their info from?
