Going to the Main Dealer out of desperation....

Hmmmmmmmmm as much as i like the C4 design wise, doesnt seem too good a choice now.Regarding your cars brake eating, My mums C3 does the same, its on its 2nd set of discs and at the last MOT they said they were getting a bit iffy.....On a car thats done 30000 miles.

They have the same discs at the back, the part numbers are the same. I had a load of trouble with the pads squealing as well, even when I had them off twice and greased the backs to death. If the Citroen garage will give you the part numbers that is....... :roll:My mate in Bristol's C3 does the same thing as mine, squeals like a bastard. But she's planning on driving hers into the Avon and I like her style. She's had it from new and the last time I was there I found a shitload of bog in the rear OS arch - I reckon it was reversed into at the dealership and quickly pogged up after PDI.C4s seem very hit and miss. My car hasn't had any really dangerous faults - it's always started in the mornings, it's never stranded me - but the litany of minor breakages exhibited has worn me down and made the car VERY difficult to like.On the other hand one of the managers at work has an early 2 Litre HDi Exclusive which has 80 k on the clock and has never gone wrong. She hammers the fucker as well.As I say - inconsistent. But I couldn't recommend one. I couldn't recommend any of the recent hatchbacks TBH, I've heard of horror stories with virtually all of them, even the Auris, which I was considering buying next.
