Interesting use of later model alloys on this H plater :)

I know a bloke who has 50 plates on SORN with no cars attached to them.

Thoroughly illegal I would suggest.

Superb thread. I remember the episode when the 205 went to the crusher and then wondered why the Punto arrived. After that I only watched when my "thing" for Jaye Griffiths got too much. Quality shite though.

I can remeber only odds 'n' sods, like a secret agent running the yellow Punto ragtop. TBH I just though it was a bit shit at the time.

It is shit, but good at the same time.

When did Mercury telecom vanish?

About 1997 the brand was absorbed back into Cable & Wireless (the parent company) and phone boxes (which had already been sold to Paytelco) were removed from the streets and one 2 one sold to T mobile in 1998

Memories!Well done John for taking all those screen grabs. I remember the yellow Punto cab and the implausible plotlines, also the death of the 800 fastback by explosion. Fairly sure another 800 bites the dust in an episode of the same run.

Aye mate, another 800 fastback goes through a barrier at ~30 mph and then hits an ERF 38 tonner head on.There's some interesting stuff in series 2 as well - but I'm a bit knackered and nursing a serious hangover so it'll be a while before I post some grabes again.
