possible new shite (finally)

well after a shite drought of 8 months I may have found my new motorMy Mum's old Alfa 145 1.7 She has had it new from 1997 and it's done 74k and never missed a beat. Tidy condition and FSH At the age of 72 she's decided she wants something smaller so is going to look at the Mito this weekend.I may have a fight on my hands though as my Brother is an Alfa nut and he wants it too.........and it was mentioned that seeing as I bought her last car, her 1990 Renault 5 GT Turbo (and still have it) it may only be fair to let my Brother have first dibs :(So fingers crossed.........

Get it! It'll leave you financially ruined of course but it'll be worth it. Plus the 1.7 Boxer engine does sound quite nice.

Interesting cars those 1.7 145's.About the nearest thing to a modern sud.IIRC Watch out for the waterpump going, as like a Lancia Gamma, they can seize and as they are driven off the cambelt so can strip the belt leading to bent valves etc.
