Intro to '89 Civic 1.4GL, called Phoebe by previous middle-class owners

Well, had the timing belt done, new tyres and just drove it from Durham to Inverness with no issues, apart from the fact it won't really idle. I have no idea why I undertook this but if the engine weren't too big I'd enter it into the Mongol rally!

Just remembered the distributor slides on these for some adjustment, but the leads and cap may be worth checking.

A Civic is too good a car to waste on Mongol Rally imo, also it really wouldn't be comfortable for it.

She's back in Durham now but I think she enjoyed her trip somewhat, especially the rest she got earlier on the A82 north of Crianlarich. Or was it south of Crianlarich? I stopped so many times I can't remember.
