Cant you get a Bosal (are they TUV approved?), for whatever mark escort, and a receipt from the uk for 'Exhaust for Escort 1300cc'? May work.

A lot of Bosal jobbies are made in Czech. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have any Mk2 Escort exhausts left.

I have a customer with a 1978 LT. It's theoretically almost impossible to get parts for it but everytime they need something I just look on the bay and there is 1 NOS part that exactly matches what they need for hardly any money. Don't know why, it amazes me every time. It's recently had a new genuine passenger door mirror, drivers door, wheel bearings, etc. Bizarre.
