I just did....Should be painting the kitchen, apparently.    

 

The postcards are great but its the photos.....Flippin brilliant.

 

I am sure the RR Ghost belonged to a friend of mine at one time, must show him.   Wonderful stuff, there are some scenes I would just like to step into and stay there.....

Fantastic, i have been working my way through all his other albums too....absolutely brilliant.  I am so living in the wrong time..i get nostalic about i time i wasnt even around in....

I was there,and these pictures produce in me a haunting sense of loss ... Will still keep looking, however.

Yep, the past is like floating down a river - there is absolutely no way of getting back to where we were.   Photographs like this help immensely, though.   I have collected thousands over the past few years - far too many to start scanning them in anywhere, at least until I retire.

It's funny - I found these old pics and they took me back 40 odd years to camping holidays in France. Cars you'd never seen before, the weird language, Orangina, long bread sticks. It made the UK look so dreary. Oh hang on...............
