anyone know for a cheap engine for the trannie i have been offered.it's a minibus and if i can find an engine i will convert it to a motorhome.must be as cheap as possthanks -aled

wont make much differance if your fitting the whole engine.............think the fly by wire shite came out after 96, I'd say try the transit forum, thats where I got my low mileage engine and box, or ask fred if she knows of one kicking about

What has it got now? What would you like it to have? You will have a 2.5 DI without an ECU, so if the engine's stuffed I would stick with the same to replace it. Unless you have a preference.

got to go and have a look at the underside to see if it is worth dooin, it used to be a military bus and supposed to be in very good nick, want to know if it's long wheelbase or not as well.if i don't get it do you fancy it fred?

i got a R-Reg 2.5Di, runs starts drives, no ticket etc €500 needs a little work, ie tyre on front, rubber bush that secures the alternator bolts... c'est toutes..
