Best time was a yawning 18.7 sec quarter with a terminal speed of 70.79 MPH.

 

I holeshot absolutely everyone though, got some pretty good reaction times.... 0.342 after pre stage..... ;D

I passed that Micra & BBQ combo heading up the M5 on Sunday morning. Wondered where it was going, now I know Nice pictures as well, C4 on the strip FTW!

I can tell thee for nowt it does damn good sausage rolls.The bloke made it out of another K10 that was going to completely fail its MOT. All the BBQ mountings are detachable so you can use it as a trailer as well.He welded the scrapped car's scissor jack to the nose of the trailer and lowers it to use as a dolly wheel. Even the trailer nose is a cut down front door. The ingenuity employed was amazing.

Qual pics. I thought about going to this, but then though maybe not as it would most likely have descended into petty bickering, so gave it a miss. Instead went to the local county show to look at pedigree dogs, shetland ponies, traction engines and a MASSIVE turn out of polish & deckchairs Sid & Doris classics. And of course like a twat forgot my camera.

I took Mr. Jones video camera but spent most of the day razzing up the drag strip getting PWNED by everything in sight.The closest I got to getting away from someone was that Simca 1302 in the photo. Everything else just left me for dead. I got off the line quicker than a 280 Capri though.Then he changed into second and I was going backwards.The funniest was my mate Danny from NSJC who did a few runs in his TDI A5.He lined up against some real ale twats from the TVR OC and absolutely rinsed a 5 Litre Chimera. Ran something like a 14.2 quarter or something daft.

That's the gaffer's (Reanimation's) car. It's only done 50k and runs like a top, two owners from new.

 

He bought it off Hairnet on RR. He's a Ford man is rean, but after spending a few quid on spheres he now loves it. It's not actually in bad nick, other than that blown in door you can see there that hairnet sprayed. Whilst blind drunk.

Pog, it was very relaxed. If you didn't want to speak to certain people.....park up elsewhere, wander around yourself or something. I'm sure you'd have been welcome on the RR stand or on NSJC.
