Great pics John, this one makes me laugh:

Check out the guy with the latex gloves and shammy in hand, he takes fingerprints on his P6 (or it might be the XR4x4) verrrrrrrrrrrrrrry seriously

I made a massive fail and sat at home bored all day, as I had forgotten this was on. Not 2 minutes walk from Greaves park is Warminster Road, whereupon there were 2 people who both owned Citroen SMs, neither one aware of the other despite the fact they lived about 300 yards from each other. FACT. I want one. You can see my mate Graeme's Farnham Zephyr in one of those photos. It's a huge red and black thing.

I think the orange Manta takes the crown for me. There's just something about continental 1970's cars in that colour that really floats my boat.

Bugger!! You beat me to it!!! I was there too (in fact my 25 was an "exhibit." Other than a rather minty Renner 12, and a 206 amongst the cruising contingent, I think it was the only French car there!!) Got loadsa pics I was gonna post- don't think I'll bother now!!

Don't lose heart, I've still got all my Bromley ones to stick up!

OK, due to public demand (thanks John and Reggie!) here's some of my pics from the same event:-

I love these big ol' Mk 2s, would love to find out what they're like to drive.

Posted Image

Posted Image

Somehow, the Mk 3 never had quite the same appeal. Quite like this one though, on it's shiney alloys. Mk 4 behind has even less appeal!!

Posted Image

Truly magnificent old Volvo

Posted Image

Posted Image

A 40 van- was such a thing ever made, or is it a home conversion?

Posted Image

Aforementioned Renner

Posted Image

Maxi. Never been a fan, but nice to see a few still exist.

Posted Image

Stunning Toyota- seen it around a couple of times, but never when I had my camera with me.

Posted Image

Apparently, this is a Metro under the skin!

Posted Image

More coming right up........

Posted

The Autobahnstormers cars:-

Posted Image

Posted Image

Posted Image

Lowdownvw had a nice group of cars too- quite like this Jetta, even though I know I shouldn't really!!

Posted Image

and absolutely LOVE this Audi

Posted Image

More German class:-

Lovely Alpina

Posted Image

Posted Image

And absolutely stunning M6 - possibly the most beautiful car there?

Posted Image

Stunner!

Posted Image

Why would you ruin a lovely Capri with possibly the crappiest wheel trims ever?

Posted Image

Never liked this version of the Capri as much as the Mk 1

Posted Image

But this has a V8 beautifully installed- must be a blast!!

Posted Image

Best looking of all the Mustangs

Posted Image

Some may find the alloys on this Stag offensive, but I like!

Posted Image

Finally- the Ford Pop street rod aready pictured. I absolutely LOVE it- an object lesson in how it should be done, proving that you CAN get a V8 under the original front end without resorting to driving from the back seat, and you CAN get a Jag IRS and wide wheels under the original rear end without sticking fat arches on! Love the way he's retained the original tail lights, even down to the one over the fold-down number plate. An absolutely wonderful car- and you should hear the noise it makes!! 8)

the sit-up-an'-beg pop (e93a??) was gorgeous 8)8) i had a chat with the lad that owned it, he did all the work himself and it took five years to complete  did you look at his log of the build?, it was a photo album of around fifty pics of many of the stages of the build- fantastic...john :PEDIT- forgot to say- your pics are much better than mine 8)8)
