I was18, doing driving lessons (badly), somehow had £2000 saved up (the most amount of cash I’ve ever had in my life) and Corolla GT Coupes were for sale in Autotrader. Even the most mint looking examples barely cracked £1500.

 

There was no way I could buy one and in any way afford to run it or had any idea of how and where to store a car. Such a great looking car and now they’re £££££.
