Soon after passing my test, it was the done thing in 6th form to go out for a drive at lunchtime, didn't go out one day as I couldn't afford extra petrol but 6 friends did in a mk1 Astra, strangely they were late coming back as the B post mysteriously moved inwards to around 8" from the centre of the roof...nobody else involved and they all walked away safely and sorted out a swift recovery. Male drivers eh....

What about the long holidays at Christmas and Easter?  In this case she's starting her final year, so by the time it get  through to mid summer, she will be graduated and might have a job and will have to add commuting to it.

Holidays arent normally longer then 2 weeks unless your on a dosser course

She's doing an MPharm Degree.  Wants to be a Pharmacist. (Son has an MChem. and has just started a PGC to become a Chemistry teacher)

What I really need is a large motor home.

Those back lights, ouch. And the 'needs must' reflectors...

Oh and the Cooper badge is too high up.

:P

The used car salesman told me they was standard on the Chilli Pack.  He was a lying twat, and McCarthy and Stone now own the freehold and have just finished building retirement flats on it.

But the boot has a very small ripple where it's been straightened, or a dent removed.  I'm guessing after the accident it's never been in, it was cheaper to fit chavy LED lights than replace with genuine MINI parts? As for the badge. Well yes, it hides the ripple a bit.

I told my wife it was a walk away car.  But we bought it anyway due to the colour and the leather and YES the rear lights.

They are mostly pointless courses though.  Now what you need is proper courses like what I did a Coventry Polytechnic.  Where I and 30 others, became the cannon fodder of production engineering departments in the motor industry in the west midlands. Apart from one weirdo who went and worked in making cans of pop.
