Bosch front calipers.

The type on C5 mk 1.  I have catastrophic leak that appear to come through the pinion that goes into the cylinder. There must be seals in there?  I have a repair kit that has a few extra seals that may be for this. Anyone done it or had this issue with Bosch front handbrake caliper?  I have it all on the bench, so will strip it and try it. If no good I will get a recon. The caliper has been reconned a couple of years ago and has new piston and good bore, so I am trying to save it.

Years ago I did some work with Lucas car braking. and the Collette Caliper.  

 

If Bosch are anything like Lucas then the range will have lots of stardard parts especially seals and pistons.

 

They did have 100's of different bleed nipples due to car manufacturers insisting that they used a particular size for them.
