Junkman Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Hate when it goes the other way when something from a 3dr Escort suddenly becomes OMGCOSWORTH... Which is the much more likely way around and I fear I will be subjected to a lot of Unobtainium, Scenetwatium, Germanpostenrichiumand Cossiebumrapium in the near future. AlabamaShrimp Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 When I got my Mustang the time clock wasn't working Ford USA wanted best part of £100 plus shipping etc so I decided to cross reference the part number with UK Fords? Only turns out that that venerable pick up truck loved by builders, garages, and pikeys alike the Ford Ranger uses the same clock Just picked up a NOS clock been sat on a shelf for years because I am guessing not many with Rangers would care if there clock packed in? The vendor seemed bemused I wanted it! I never told him what for though As a result this unloved unwanted part was mine for just £12 Result!Pictures!!!!! Of the clock of course not the Mustang Banger Kenny 1
lisbon_road Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 You have also helped save the planet a bit as the 'new' clock would presumably have been air freighted across, and you've bought a clock which would have possibly ended up being dumped. Good for you. Junkman 1
