And in happier times:

As you can see, it is in bits (bought that way) and is complete, save for maybe some very minor parts, and a fuel tank (it was holed).

In addition, it comes with I am told a rebuilt to standard spec, unused engine (need to check) and new stage 1 T3 turbo.

The car needs a bit or work to the rear floor pans and inner sills, and the lower rear arches. Aside from that, it doesn't appear to need much.

It comes with two genuine Ford front wings, and pattern inner and outer sills, rear arch repair panels and front floor pans.

There is no rust in the boot hinges, boot floor etc is great, as is sunroof area and sunroof glass, front floor pans (been patched each, before), original battery tray in VGC, original front panel with a couple of repairs (Gen Ford headlight surround panel). Inner wings and bulkhead good etc. Underneath looks decent, too. I am unsure what exhaust it has, it is all one piece and looks to be part stainless. The back box is genuine Ford, though and in VGC.

The seats, carpet and dash are very good, the drivers door card being the worst bit, but still acceptable. Uncut parcel shelf, original floorpan and quarter sound deadening.

It is a great condition car, compared to many in project condition (hence me buying it), and will make a lovely example when sorted.

I haven't the space for it and don't want to pay to store it, it will be a shame to sell, but needs must. I do have loads more pics, I spent today taking them and cataloguing the parts, so if need be, I can provide more.

Any idea what I should be asking, pervy?

I'd think the likes of ACA or Mathewsons would be your best bet. Enter it early so it's in all the literature and I'd think it'd do very well. Surprisingly well.

offer a magazine like deal

£30 a week and you will post them a part, accompanied by some facts written on the back of a fag packet.  In only 100 weeks they can have a full 1:1 scale car.

Then 80% way through cancel the service.

It's a little difficult to pinpoint an exact value as the prices are all over the place, the way im looking at the car is the time consuming part of stripping it down has been done and a prospective buyer can see what they are buying work wise, it looks a pretty easy project from the pictures with all the panels to do it, my temptation would be to start it on a 7 day ebay auction at around £3000-£3500 to gain interest and watchers and let it get its own balance

Cheers, all.

Moog, I am subscribed to one of those myself. :D

I agree with Bavarian Retro about bunging it into the next classic auction at ACA. Stuff tends to sell for silly money there.

I have to say I am intrigued by BR's idea. What is the deal then, do they sell many jigsaws?

Would they use my pics? I guess I have to transport the car down or have it collected?

They don't do eBay style sales?

I plan to look on the site, but there is clearly somw experience here.

What kinda fees am I looking at?

Cheers
