Trouble with painting tyre is as they flex so much it doesn't last any time at all. The paint cracks and goes off colour, the custom car lads used to fit like a gaiter over the rim, looks effective from a slight distance.

The line on the spare looks ok, here's a more subtle line: (bit of trouble lining these up.........try squinting). Just needs some wood effect side panels courtesy of Fablon and roof rails! However, yes, tyre paint will soon crack and fade.
