What I dun this week

Just spent the last week on another of my European jaunts

Boarded a cracking bus in Veliko Turnovo and spent the 1st 3hrs enjoying the scenery on my way to Sofia Airport

Boarded the "quality" Wizzair Aircraft after spending far to much time asking the ground staff about they're escort vehicle........25k kms only..

Spent 3hrs flying into Bristol airport,where I was picked up by our very own Kiltox (Gary),who preceeded to give a thorough tour of Bristol whilst on our way to Cheltenham

1st time in a Laguna for me,and the autobox and diesel engine in his seemed well matched

Onto the reason for the visit to Kiltox Towers,1 of Renault's finest Trafic vans.

The tyres were kicked,various bits cleared out and the deal was done

No pics as it was getting on for 11pm so I headed off to the inlaws place in N Shropshire

This is the main reason for the trip

Custom made deep bath for the Mrs to sit in rather than recline in a std bath.Not happy that it was delivered 2 days late tho...

It ended up being cheaper to do the fly/drive than have it shipped over

Van got packed out with the remainder of my garage gear,and got a load of dog charity donations to bring over as well

Got on the Eurostar at 1.30 Thursday morning and emerged in Calais to the shitty rain that would continue for the whole run back

Being on my todd meant not many chances at pics . Managed to spot an interesting museum whilst trundling through Germany

Definitely had a Concorde on display,plus the Russian equivalent Tupelov

Stopped raining just as I cleared he hills into Vienna,stopped for few hours kip and awoke to more rain

Hungary came and went,Romania was as shitty as everytime I've been with some simply suicidal drivers around

Seen the remains of 6 accidents on the trip,1 of which was cleaned up by a snow plough..........

Hassle free crossing into Bulgaria,and home a few hours later at 10pm Friday night

Van didn't miss a beat.Kept it at a steady 130kph due to the rain and stopped for a couple hrs kip when I started feeling tired

All in all a good trip,and 1 I may be repeating soon as 1 of the Bulgarian rescue charities has found a UK home for a dog but need it transporting over

So I'm thinking of bring a trailer with me an picking up my Escort....
