Yeovil to Tamworth express, cheapest possibilities?

Colc's gorgeous Passat is in need of Saving and I can find it a home with me. Only problem is that the car is in Yeovil and I am in Tamworth. The usual 'move your car' websites are coming out with figures that are beyond my pocket unfortunately.

 

Does anyone know a cheap way to shift a car between those places?

Surely someone knows of a decent 'man with trailer for hire or reward' sort of setup, not loooking for it done free, just not at the pro recovery rates which are galactic at times.

I've used Lichfield Trailer Hire but that assumes you've got something to drag it with.

I am due to an issue at work, but as this is a different car it 'won't be mine' cough cough, you know what I mean, so,I can get away with for a couple of months. Then when I sort storage at home it can come back to mine. It's a complicated problem but I will explain when I see you next.
