I've just remembered another common problem on the diesels - spilts/holes in the intake pipes. 

 

This has just been discovered on our 147 today after a complaint of low power, poor consumption and many smoke. 

 

 

Basically 90% of low power/smoke issues on these are either EGR clag or split boost pipes.

 

We have a new non-OE pipe on it's way off of popular auction site for £27.99.

Autolusso do a silicone version for £65 quid or so but I'm not Rich Uncle Pennybags.
