ROFFLE - is £14 too much?

I am losing the storage for my projects in the near future so need to clear out some space. At the moment the option I can see is to sell my beloved Dolomite, it's a bit rough around the edges and was a cat D at some point, but structurally solid and I have spent a ton of cash on it (don't we always). I have never done a ROFFLE, so the question is - is £14 too much? It owes me about £1200 but if I could see £800 ish I could live with it. It has mot etc etc and shouldn't need any money spending on it, fat tread on tyres etc. I am waiting to hear back from a mate of a mate who may be able to store it but if not I will need to move it on.

What do people think?

Not too bad a price - we've had this before for the SLK - though I'm not sure how many takers there might be for it. Wouldn't interest me, I'm afraid, but then I'm really not interested in 70s British metal even if it were free.

Maybe try a straight sale first? There must be a Dolomite-lover who'd want it for £1000 or so.

I'm currently looking for storage options in Tamworth. Would you be interested in space if I can get something for the right price?

Nobody really wants to sell a beloved project.

Thanks mate, unfortunately I can't really afford to pay for storage at the moment, I have been a bit spoiled by managing to hide away two of my projects at work for a few years. They weren't in the way so it wasn't a problem and it was free. Unfortunately the space is now needed so they have to go. I will probably also have to sell one of them I fear which is a pain as it's a mini shell I was going to use for hillclimbing but it's a complete bitsa so no idea what to do with that at the moment. I can't complain, I have been lucky for years, it's just a pain the luck has run out now.

I will wait and see if I get lucky from my contact, if not I will stick up a for sale/ Roffle thread.

I know mate, I have spent so much time on it and it's gorgeous but can't see a way around it at the moment. No point having it if I can't use it. Thought the storage was good for at least another couple of years but things have suddenly changed very quickly so need something sorted by the summer at the very least and ideally way before then. :-(
