mouseflakes Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Anyone interested in getting this back on the road? Will be very cheap as it has been stood for some years and needs plenty of work - but it's not so far gone as to be a spares car. I do have a spare bonnet and some wings (all used but useable). PM me for further details.
dollywobbler Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 Hmmm. I picked a fine day to not have learnt how to weld...
pogweasel Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 That is well cool though. Here's hoping one of our resident 'MIG HEROES' can do the honours.
wuvvum Posted April 20, 2009 Posted April 20, 2009 I'm not a "MIG HERO" myself, but I know several people who are...
mouseflakes Posted April 20, 2009 Author Posted April 20, 2009 I welded one of the trailing arm mounts years ago but shortly after that our house started to fall down. After I finished fixing that our little daughter was born with multiple disabilities. She needs 24 hour care and to be honest my time working on the cars is very limited these days. We're looking to move to a more suitable home in the next twelve months (needs to be all on one level really) so I don't see myself fixing the 16 by then - and doubt we can afford a house with the space to store it. I've started work on the R30 and my XM and I'm quite happy with how it's going - it's just difficult finding the time... R30 needs very little bodywork really. XM needs a bit more effort
