Ok, it was the ISTS show at Donnington last weekend, one of my favourite days out. Took A LOT of pics, but won't post most of them here, for fear of inducing appoplexy in some of this forum's users!! However, there were a few cars there that might be appropriate to Autoshite:

I was surprised by how many Capris were in attendance:-

This one totally stock, as far as I could see

Posted Image

As was this one

Posted Image

This one however.......

Posted Image

Had a Cossie motor (I think?!)

Posted Image

Whilst this was an entirely different kettle of fish!

Posted Image

with it's Nissan lump

Posted Image

This was next to the Capri above- can't decide it it's "rat-look," or a work in progress!

Posted Image

Nice P100

Posted Image

and even nicer Escort

Posted Image

A smattering of Minis:-

More in a moment!

We like Renner 5s here, don't we?

Not at all sure about the front end of this one

Posted Image

Or this one!

Posted Image

Posted Image

This one though is a stunner!

Posted Image

Posted Image

Posted Image

and this one looks like it means bussiness!

Posted Image

Stock looking Pug....

Posted Image

wasn't quite stock under the bonnet

Posted Image

Another one

Posted Image

A few nice motors in the car park, as usual!

Posted Image

Love this!

Posted Image

Posted Image

Not done yet.......

Posted

French tat!

Posted Image

Suerbly appropriate use for H van!

Posted Image

Nice looking Mk 1 Golf...........

Posted Image

Held a secret!!

Posted Image

You have to admire the engineering (how DOES it work? One gear box or two? But, why?!! )

Posted Image

Some Beemers

Posted Image

Posted Image

Many will detest this, but I gotta admit, I love it!

Posted Image

I have a soft spot for Novas:-

Like this, though I hope that front wing WILL get sprayed, and isn't just another example of the "rat-look" thing, which I frankly just DON'T get!

Posted Image

I was impressed with this one- arches very nicely widened

Posted Image

Not so sure about the front view though

Posted Image

Whilst this one, I think, is absolutley superb!!

Posted Image

Love those wheels- such a nice change to see steelies used, and finished so beautifully.

Posted Image

Superb engine install too.

Posted Image

And, just to show it IS possible to modify a car tastefully, I offer this. Might not be to everyone's taste I suppose, but I think it's stunning!

Posted Image

Interior not too garish either- looks like a nice place to be

Posted Image

Finally, a few candidates for the number plate thread elsewhere on this forum.

Posted Image

Posted Image

I love this one, if it's genuine

Posted Image

Bugger! Why is it sideways on?!!

Anyway, I think this is one of the cleverest I've seen. Simple, but clever!

Posted Image

Well, that's all I dare post here!:lol:

that crossbow thing was at goodwood last breakfast club do

A nice selection there. Marred only by the post 73 black number plate users.

I like the AX, 4 bot wheela and 106 Rallye steels mean its probally saxo VTS underneath...

Posted

The cars don't do anything to me, maybe I am TOO OLDBut the workmanship is excellent :)

The Herald project towards the top belongs to a chap who posts on R-R. He's fitted an RX I thin rotary in it.

Posted

This one.......

Posted Image

Had a Cossie motor (I think?!)

Posted Image

Close - it's a Zetec, probably nicked out of a Mk2 Mondeo. Though fed by a pair of juicy-looking carburettors (Webers?) rather than fuel injection. I can see why you looked at the cams cover and thought Cosworth though! :)
