Would anyone in the Devon area (or between there and the midlands) be able to store a Maxi for a few weeks?

I think I have just purchased a Maxi which is currently on a farm near Branscombe in Devon and it may need moving fairly quickly,

I also have room for three cars and have three cars, one of which is now on ebay at the second attempt (a 309 if anyone is interested)!

Therefore would any kind soul in the area or between there and the Midlands have room to store an extra car for a few weeks? If so I would be very grateful.

I know very little about the car, it has been dry stored since 1994, it is Sandglow and may or may not have had a diesel engine fitted! But I had to move quickly otherwise it will go to the scrapyard with a load of Maestro's.

I have got it at a low price so if the worse comes to the worse and its rotten (which I believe isn't the case) I could always break it.

EDIT: Obviously I am willing to make it worth your while, beer tokens or cash etc!

Many thanks

Peter

I could store it outside for a while but I have no means of collecting it now. My workshop is just off the M5 at junction 26 with a ramp as well to check it out if it can get here.

Outside would be great thanks. It hasn't moved or been attempted to move with it's own power. I will be looking at arranging transport, I think I will have a week or two to organise that.

Thankyou.

I can help with storage in mid Devon, it'll cost a few beer tokens though.

Yes of course I would obviously be very happy to bung someone a few quid or subsidise a few trips to the pub.

Late to the party as usual, Branscombe is only up the road from me, I've nowhere to store the car but give me a shout if assistance needed.

(Or indeed any of the Maestro's in the other thread).

Thankyou I may well need some. I plan to have it shiply'd Saturday after next. I intend to go down to help the collection. I should have space for it by then.

If I then do the nonsensical thing and purchase a Maestro too I may still be looking for somewhere to keep it!
