MG6 killed.

It looks like the offspring of a Renault Captur and a VW Polo.

Work's MG6 did alright in the shunt which wrote it off; bloke driving it escaped unscathed when another car pushed him into the central reservation.
Unsure how badly it was damaged but it appears to still have RFL. 

The very thought of a driving a bended n' mended MG6 makes me want to take the bus. 

A NIMBY-nothing-better-to-do type collared me once as I was leaving an event about it not having a tax disc. In November 2014. 

"Why doesn't it have a tax disc? That's illegal."

"Tax discs were discontinued in October 2014."

"That's nonsense, you have to have one."

"Check on askmid and the DVLA license enquiry database; it has RFL."

"I'm not doing that, you should have a tax disc."

VERDICT: imbecile.

Doesn't bode well for Ellesmere Port...

 

 

Dear old Ellesmere Port is a beautiful site.  Its also close, if not no.1 in GMs own internal audits for efficiency and quality out of close to 40 plants.  The last time I checked using GMs internal info, it was in the top 7 (not necessarily no.7, just in it) and that was before the new Astra.  Which by the way it makes for all of Europe now.  If Ellesmere Port ever goes, its down to a lack of manufacturing suppliers in the UK and politics.
