Recommend a tow truck service? Shifting a motor from Colchester to Heathrow

I need to get my Shitroen moved from Colchester to back home near Heathrow. My mate with the truck is now out until middle of March and I kinda want to get it back sooner rather than later. I can't A frame it and I can't tow, so me trailering it is also out.

Anyone recommend a tow truck or trailer service happy to do that side of the country and any idea what it might cost? It's about 95 miles by the looks of it.

You can get some quotes on Shiply.com, but I appreciate that it isn't the same as using someone you trust.

I don't know if this would help, but I have hired car trailers from G.T. Towing of Potters Bar, just north of where I live, using my Citroen Xantia to pull it. I'd be happy to assist if there's no other way to shift it, although I don't know how the costs would work out for the trailer hire, petrol in my Citroen Xantia vs. Shiply.com but the offer is there if there's no alternative.

PM me if you need to know more.

EDIT: I should have added I live in Barnet, know Essex well and used to work at Heathrow Airport, so know the roads.

What about Bub2006's friend, its a little way from his base but he might be down that way doing another job in the next few weeks potentially?

Thanks for the recommendations. Looks like I might be co-hiring a truck with a couple of Retro Riders who I was originally going to hook up with for the pick up.

Andrew - thanks for the kind offer. I would have taken you up on that, and made it worth your while in motorway service takeaway food, tea and coffee! (and piles of shit music, but I normally keep that quiet until last minute)

I don't know anything about your car,so im assuming its a classic/resto,but if its just broke then breakdown cover?,my mate sold his Pontiac to a chap who got the train down, bought the car, paid him and rang the aa and waited for his "free ride home" crafty but I would!!
