Guest Breadvan72 Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 I drove the car last night in heavy traffic from the Temple to Pall Mall (about a mile, about twenty minutes). The temperature needle sat bang in the middle of the DIAL. This was comforting. The car has slightly sensitive front and rear parking sensors, so it whoop whoops "Yellow Alert, Klingon Warbird de-cloaking" every time a motorbike courier swishes by. I rather like this. Longblackcoat Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Yeah, never gets hot, and the needle only seems to move coldwards when running at speed.

Guest Breadvan72 Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 I HATEZ to say this, but sometimes being a bit modern is a thing. Mega frosty this morning in rural Oxonshireland. I thought to take my SD1 to the station for the 0613 train, just because because, but it was not at all keen to start. I probably could have got it going by spraying canned wombat jizz into the carbs and all that bollocks, but I could not be arsed. The E39 started up straight away, and I set it to demist while I slurped tea. The SD1 would look cooler posing outside the station, but you can't have everything. hauserplenty 1
beko1987 Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 Im just about to fire up the zx and begin mega scrapeage!

The E38 I have hits the middle of the temp guage at 75 deg, Then stays bang there until 119 Deg C when it gives a little wiggle At 120 Deg it buries itself in the red Hate BWM ECU controlled readouts - find the secret menu on the dash and see what the real temperature is my advice
Guest Breadvan72 Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 This car is so fast as fook that I have killified a bird in flight. Soz! Just been to a local small town and saw four E39s, yikes.
AnthonyG Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 That's lovely, what a great colour. If you need someone to drive it from one bit of Bucks to another, may I offer my services?
