What's the issue with changing colour of a car? I changed a plums and custard 2cv to orange, sent off the v5 with new colour and it came back with no issues.

If you've got plenty of time and patience, Rustoleum is a good option IMHO.

Cos I like it the colour it is:)

 

just looked at the v5 and happily it states GREY rather than silver so I can go for a stock Plastidip colour if I want:)

Ah ha, that makes sense. I'd be interested in your experience with plastidip if you go that route.
