Saw this being removed from a yard today, spoke to the owner who's had it from new and it was on its way to be restored. Yay!.

I like it when things like that happen.

Apart from the doors and a few bits around the cab it looks surprisingly solid. Hasn't done huge mileage, and had the engine rebuilt not that long before it was parked up a few years ago.

Well chuffed he's getting it fixed.

Excellent. A virtual pint to anyone who can find me an image of a Bedford KM removal truck - the all-in-one style where the cab is built into the main body. Used to be loads in Birmingham but my Google-fu is weak tonight.

Mega!

Love a nice TK me.

Ian, I'll ask my neighbour re KM coachbuilts - he used to be a removal man* and is still well into old trucks etc.

*Amusingly, my neighbour is quite a hefty chap, and used to work a removal team with my father-in-law, who is about 5'5" and not a particularly stocky chap. I can only imagine the 70's style physical comedy that must have ensued....

Spied this TK in a scrapyard in Shropshire a couple of weeks ago. Seems unlikely it's get rescued like the removals lorry though ...
