I'd love to buy that just to be able to say  " Just popping out, I'll be back in a Jiffy "

If this was used for 'overnight fishing trips / dogging activities' you could say '' I'll be coming in a jiffy ''.

I tried to talk to the Jiffy's owner today but no joy so ended up leaving a note through his door.

Looking in the related items of that eBay listing, there is the least appropriate camper conversion I have ever, ever seen (unless you're Warwick Davis or something):

Just researching on a vehicle i used to own and found this thread, Here is a little history  about the vehicle

We bought the vehicle from Cannock in Staffs  it had been parked on a farm for many years and used as store when we got it sadly the person who had built it had made a mess of it.

So me and my mate John stripped the vehicle and did a full chassis rebuild including repositioning all the mountings and building a new support floor  then we remounted the cab and grafted the Romahome body back on so it now sat level ,  we then had a run of bad luck firstly  someone set fire to trees next where it was parked and scorched the back corner, then  a break in and all the photos and videos of the restoration were stolen along with tools , it was then unfortunate my mate passed away.

So it made its way to mine where i set too and installed a wiring loom and got the engine running and then painted her, she had no interior so i had 2 reccaro seats from an old ford made frames and fitted them in, the it was time to look at the back, so using a period caravan i managed to adapt some of the cupboards , doors, sink and cooker, fitted a roof lining and made some curtains, she was finally finished but sadly i could not keep her too long so she attended a few local classic car shows and then i went to The Mini  50th Anniversary at Longbridge in 2009  where i sold her to the couple in Lincolnshire that owned her next. its nice to see she is still about 10 yrs later
