Favourite and least favourite Ford wheels or hubcaps through the decades.

My favourite wheeltrims are the little-seen ones fitted to the Mk2 XR2 if you were too tight to pay for the pepperpots and got the standard 13"x6J steels (which were unique to the XR2) instead. Unlike the similar 1.4S trims, they were a two piece design (the centre cap clipped between the wheel nuts, and was used on it's own for the povvo-spec Popular/Pop Plus/L models):

I had a set of these wheels and trims on my Mk1 Fiesta 1.1L -  I bought them for £100 in 1993 from a dodgy scrapyard in Bolton after seeing an advert in Auto Trader. I gather that like most OSF bits thay are quite sought after now.

As has been said above, there's been a veritable shit-ton of ace wheels and trims from Ford, but I was never a fan of those wanky ones with bulges you saw on a few MK3 Fezzas.

Never liked these MK4 Ghia ones either, they reel of wilderness:

I was a strange child and I actually collected wheel trims as a kid.

There was an alcove in our garden in Birmingham between the shed and he fence and it contained about 2000 wheel trims at its peak. I would pick up any stray ones and dad encouraged by collecting every trim he saw on his job as a night courier. It was like Christmas every time he came home. I had some real mad ones, all had to be left behind when we came back here.

One of my favourite alloy wheels was the facelift Mondeo Si

Favourite wheel trim would be the whirlpool GLX Mondeo trim.
