A dusting with talc in the boot then application of a hose to the roof/lights/bootlid would be a good idea, the water should leave a track where ever it flows and leadyou back to theproblem.

In theory.

And if it doesnt then at least your boot will smell fresh.

You're bad luck, I checked Herman and there's a small puddle in the wheel well too!

I however have enough to do as it is so I'm ignoring it for now.

Herman is his Bimmer 728.

Maybe he's peeing himself with laughter at our Rugby World Cup fate.

Took Mason's numberplate off this evening. Turns out he's on numberplate number 3 or 4, as there were TWO other sets of holes in addition to the ones being used to affix the current plate, along with that glorious double-sided sticky/velcro stuff.

We've covered up the holes with grommets of the non-plasticine-dog variety and have screwed the numberplate back on very tightly. I've also put fresh paper in the boot as I don't think these holes are the source of the water.

Talcum powder is a good idea. I'm also seriously considering detoxifying the boot, climbing in with a torch (I'll probably fit in the wheel well now everything has been removed except the SARS), and having somebody douse the car with water with the bootlid shut.

Gonna track this son'bitch water.

Amazes me mind why people are drilling additional holes for new plates.

Can't get much more simple than old plate on top of new, drill through the 2 holes already there and then screw back on!
