Local working show

A couple of weekends ago Mrs Sills and the junior Crusty's went to the (very) local agricultural show in the field opposite our house.

She had a cake stall for her business and I got free entry by putting the Beetle in the classic car section.

Thought I would share some of the pictures of steam, tractor and car shite.

Tractors first, I've never really taken any notice of vintage tractors but the more I looked at them I could see the appeal in them

Having looked around I realised that a Ferguson T20 was the beginner vintage tractor with Fordson Majors next.

This big American bright orange Allis-Chalmers was my favourite

Next up is the steam and military vehicles.

There was lots of heavy machinery around and the steam engines looked, sounded and smelled great.

This is my neighbours FV432 APC it has a Rolls Royce multi fuel engine and moves at a scary speed for such a heavy machine, working on him to let me have a drive!

Last are the cars.

For a small show there were quiet a few entrants of varying makes.

A bit of OSF action. The Cortina was a 20 foot car and will be in need of big work in the not to distant future.

Gold Escort was a 1 owner from new car.
