Fantastic looking little thing Mr Dave...... if it ever wants to try more Moule-Frite and a vast selection of local beers it would find a loving home here in the capital of Europe. ;-)  - although TBH I'd be loathe to part with such a good example!

Good luck with the CT - I'm sure it'll be a doddle. What's the spares availability like down there? Is there a decent/dedicated following?

I bounced down to town after a hard day of pretending to be working and rolled into the CT centre. It wasnt my usual guy this time, but the stand-in seemed fine.

It passed with no real concerns.

Three advisories...

The right hand front foglight is aimed too high, which I find surprising due to it not having fog lights.

Unbalanced front suspension...probably uneven hydragas pressures? meh.

And the standard A-series oil leak

While it was over the pit I had a shufty and all seems well....still not a trace of rust. It seems to have some kind of extra underseal layer, which has melted next to the exhaust. You can see it doesnt reach the right hand sill either for some reason.

I will need to re-jigger the exhaust somehow as the middle box occasionaly clouts the floor when cornering.

There is a bit of resistance to the back right wheel so I will get the drum off and have a look, and the front pads are looking a little low too, so thats something to do in the near future.

Excellent news. These had much better rust protection than the later K-series ones, as mine also has that thick layer underneath and zero welding (although admittedly it was owned by a cossetting old giffer).

Exhausts always knock on these one the original exhaust has died.

The rear shoes can be wound back without removing the drum on these.

If you get stuck finding pads for this, give me a shout.

Lol at the non-existent foglamp issues.

Do they choose from a list or type it in?
