Fleur-De-Lys Classic Vehicle Show 3/7/15 (NOW WITH PHOTOS!)

As the thread for this has disappeared, along with the forum it was in, I thought it was worth mentioning here 'cos it's an excellent show and only costs a couple or three quid to bring a vehicle in. There's something for everyone: yank tanks, bikes, commercials, tractors, steam lorries, military stuff, campers, 'proper' classics and some proper shite as well! I shall be attending on an exceptionally scabby, brush-painted Honda 50, so do say hello if you spot us

 

Starts tonight at about 1730 at Thornes Park, Wakefield, and finishes when it starts getting dark.

I went. It was busy and I won sod all

 

The two categories I was asked to judge* had only one entry (not sure if something had gone wrong. So judged the American cars instead and made some with a mustang very happy as it was his first ever show. Second place went to a RHD STS, I couldn't help it!

Lol by giving the prize to the bus I just said he'd won to the organisers after hearing there was only one entry I didn't actually hand over the bit of paper.

 

Sadly I turned down doing the motorbikes as I know sod all about them
